The animatronics show is a major attraction at ISKCON Bangalore and has been acting as a powerful tool to reach the message of the Bhagavad Gita using the modern media of audio animatronics.
The conventional mechanized automation techniques used in many museums to display lifelike figures that move and speak are often jerky and unimpressive. The Audio-Animatronics (audio, animation and electronics) used in ISKCON Bangalore is much more refined and sophisticated. The
|
| movements are more intricate and fully synchronized with the aid of computer electronics. The various types of movements of the life size Ajamila, three Visnudutas and the three Yamadutas including that of their lips, eyelids, fingers, arms, hands and body synchronize perfectly with light and sound to simulate a "real life" movement. This is done with the help of custom programs that activate the internal electronics in a controlled sequence, synchronizing it with the audio (ex: jaw drops as a word is spoken). All electronic and mechanical components are hidden beneath the latex skin. |
