Bangalore: Jan 1: Governor V.S.Rama Devi inaugurated the Hari Nama mantapa at the International Society for Krishna Consciousness Temple complex here on Saturday. About 1000 devotees participated in the yagna of chanting of 100 crore holy names of Lord Krishna and Lord Rama for world peace and harmony.

Iskcon has appealed to people of all religions to participate and significantly contribute to promotion of world peace and harmony by a simple act of chanting the holy names of Lord Krishna and Lord Rama.

This will give the devotees the satisfaction of having taken part in the most unselfish cause of advancing the well being of humanity, the priests said. The Hare Krishna mantra will be chanted for 365 days in addition to sankalpa of chanting 100 crore holy names.
